Vanja Smoje-Glavaski
Hi, I'm Vanja! I have been an English teacher for more than 20 years and a CELTA trainer for more than 7. I am also a Cambridge speaking examiner and I love developing digital content for teacher training webinars and online video lessons. What fascinates me about this profession is the ability to help people improve their English for various needs, but also making an even greater impact by training teachers who then, in turn, have a positive effect on their learners. That’s what makes a trainer’s calling really rewarding.
Anita Derecskei
Hi,
I'm Anita :) I've been a teacher trainer for about 6 years and I work on CELTA
courses and other teacher training courses, as well as mentor teachers and do
observations. I also teach general and business English and I am Cambridge
speaking examiner. I am particularly interested in teaching online and the use
of technology in language lessons.
"I found the course useful, interesting and engaging. Anita and Vanja use a wide range of teaching techniques and tools to explain the key points of English grammar, while providing an insight into the teaching profession. The information about websites and online tools at the end of each module is also extremely handy."
- Stefánia Dedeó, English teacher
"I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for creating this course and providing those wonderful materials! I teach English to young learners and teenagers who can be really picky (and tricky) when we talk about grammar. Your programme has really helped me to see everything from a comprehensive and systematic point of view and to teach grammar to my students much more effectively. I find it really useful that I can always go back to the short videos and review things very quickly. In the module system I can easily find what I am looking for. Games and activities are brilliant too and I am happy to use the original or adapted versions in the online or offline classrooms"
- Gabriella Sipos, English teacher
‘The course was enjoyable, comprehensive and well-structured. There were clear and concise explanations and I also liked the practice activities at the end of each module. I feel much more knowledgeable about grammar and more confident to teach it to my students.‘
